So it's been almost 7 months since I updated my journal. I'm lazy and have lots that I do. Let's see how much I can tell you in a few short time.

It's finals week here at Mount. So far I've only had one, Music Theory, but I have Piano later (piece of cake), Basic Musicianship Skills tomorrow and my voice jury tomorrow. I'm a little nervous about singing in front of half the music faculty, but I'm sure I'll be fine.

So far at Mount I've joined choir and band. I've also been named VP for CHOICES (Choosing Healthy Options In Celebration of Educational Success) which means we're for promoting correct choices about alcohol, drugs, smoking, gambling, and sex. It's been alright, though I'm not sure that I should have been VP. I also got named for Treasurer of SAC (Student Activities Council) and that's ok. Just request checks and what not and then give the checks to the performers when they come. It's awesome getting to meet all the comedians, bands, and singers. I went on a trip for that which was absolutely crazy. I've also been "tapped" to join KKP (Kappa Kappa Psi) which is the band fraternity on campus. I don't know if I want to join yet. I don't know.

So relationship wise you know that Amber and I broke up. We actually got back together over the summer, but she dumped me a week before I came to Mount. I will say that I've never feltso hurt. For someone to tell that after you've been with them for pretty much a year and a half to say "I just don't love you anymore" that really hurts. It still hurts, but I'm motioning to get over it. I don't want to lose her freindship. I also while here got together with a girl named Megan. She was a sister of one of my friends here so my friend wasn't happy with me for a while. Stupid. She's a junior in high school so I can understand the protective side, but she was plipping insane at me. We're not great friends anymore, but well her sister and I are also not together anymore as of yesterday. She was just too busy and we never got to see each other. Plus it would be difficult being so far away from each other over breaks, ya know? Oh well...shit happens.

So Christmas break is soon! Woot! I leave Sunday for break because I'm heading off to the Stagg Bowl this weekend! Yeah GO MOUNT!! Perfect record so far. It's awesome finally being at a school where your sports teams are awesome. So yeah, this break ought to be fun. My birthday is also next week. Woot woot! It's going to be a long Christmas though. I'm not really looking forward to it actually. Like it's nice to see all my friends from home, but at the same time I'm really going to miss my friends from here. It just feels like we've created more of family bond than that friendship bond, ya know? I don't know. I'm happy and sad at the same time, I hate that!! Oh well. I suppose that's all I have for the moment. Oh wait! I forgot to mention the Ireland trip! So the choir here in May is going to Ireland! So I get to go to Ireland!!!!!
